The dance teachers
Meet Stuart Donald
The school is led by Stuart Donald, an International Dance Teachers’ Association (IDTA) accredited professional teacher. Stuart began dancing at the age of 13 and has been teaching for over 20 years.
His technique is the result of hard work and many years of experience, combining styles and influences from around the globe. Stuart’s teaching style is clear, encouraging and patient—he wants you to feel confident on the dance floor, whatever your starting point.
Stuart’s goal is to make every class enjoyable, informative and relaxed, so that you can learn at your own pace while having fun.
Meet Lorraine Dunn‑Donald
Stuart is joined by his wife, Lorraine Dunn‑Donald, an ALIDE‑qualified dance teacher who has been dancing for over 12 years. Lorraine is always on hand during classes to offer support with style and technique.
She has a strong understanding of how each dance should look and feel—right down to the position of the head and body that helps the dance flow. Her warm, welcoming manner puts you at ease from the moment you enter the dance school.
Lorraine’s ability to dance both the leader and follower roles is a huge asset in class, helping dancers of all abilities understand how the dance works from both perspectives.
Together, Stuart and Lorraine aim to provide you with a dancing experience like no‑one else in Warrington. Their classes are designed to be enjoyable, confidence‑building and social, while you learn a skill you can use at parties, weddings, cruises and social events.
