I don't have a dance partner, can I still join?
  • We try to encourage dancer to bring someone with them:
  • Whether you're a couple, dancing with a friend or relative, or are without a dancing partner.
  • We cannot guarantee there will be another individual for you to dance with but Stuart and Lorraine endeavour to dance with all students as much as possible.

What do I need to wear?
  • For ladies we recommend you wear either trousers or a skirt (not fitted) and a t-shirt or vest top as you are likely to feel warm when dancing. For your footwear we recommend you wear a formal shoe such as a court shoe with no bigger than a 3 inch heel.
  • For Men your footwear we recommend you wear, a formal shoe such as a suit shoe
  • No Trainers

Can you help us with our wedding dance?
  • Whether you have previously danced or you and/or your partner are absolute beginners, we're confident we can teach you a dance routine to wow your guests .
  • As a minimum we recommend 4 weeks (4*1 hour lessons) .
  • in order for both of you to be comfortable and confident with your first dance

Can I pay as I go?
  • Unfortunately we do not operate pay as you go dance classes as we have to meet minimum numbers for our room hire and a maximum number of students per class due to health and safety reasons.
  • Therefore, we take bookings in 4 week blocks. We charge £30.00 for a 4 week course per person (i.e. £7.50 per lesson, per person).

Do I have to buy dance shoes?
  • No, but if you wish to buy dance shoes Stuart and Lorraine would be happy to advise you.
  • As an IDTA accredited teacher, we are able to offer you a 20% discount off all Supadance shoes..

Stuart’s Dance School is a friendly dance school in Warrington. We offer Latin, ballroom and sequence classes for beginners, improvers, intermediate and advanced students. Founded in 2001

The School is led by myself, Stuart Donald. I am an International Dance Teacher Association (IDTA) accredited professional teacher. I started dancing when I was 13 years of age and started teaching 20 years ago. My technique is the result of hard work and many years’ experience combining styles from around the globe.

Everyone is welcome, I aim to provide you with fun dance classes in a relaxed and helpful environment.

Short Beginners


I run short beginners classes as an Introduction to dancing.

Sometimes one part of the couple is resistant to come along, even though they agreed!

A four week Taster is not too much to commit too, and also give you an idea if they are going to enjoy it!
